I changed my story as I began a new chapter in my life. You too can make real, lasting lifestyle changes; and become healthier, happier, more energized and confident.

Like most people, I have experienced bumps in the road on the journey to optimal health. I know how hard it is to balance life, fit in time for yourself, and start something new. It can be overwhelming and scary to make big changes to your health and lifestyle, break bad habits, and stay on track. That’s why I am committed to supporting you every step of the way.

My Approach

Each of us has unique needs, lifestyles, preferences and backgrounds; and “healthy” looks different for every “body.” Following the latest diet trends, becoming a “gym rat” or copying what works for someone else is bound to fail in the long-term. There’s no magic formula. That’s why I won’t offer you a quick fix, powder shakes or a one-size fits all diet. This is a healthy, REALISTIC LIFESTYLE SHIFT and I will support you to create permanent change.  

It’s a TRUE PARTNERSHIP: you talk and I listen carefully. We will navigate the confusing world of health advice to discover what motivates and energizes YOU. We will create a plan based on your PERSONALIZED needs; and I will provide you with support and tools to create real, LASTING CHANGE. I will empower you to make smart choices about your health in any given circumstance. Together, we create an EMPOWERING and non-judgmental environment for you to articulate and achieve your goals.

This is not a diet. You can ditch your scale. You will not count calories or say goodbye to foods you love.  Instead, you will EAT REAL FOODS and enjoy healthy balanced meals to nourish and energize your unique body. You will learn step-by-step, easily-integrated strategies for lasting change. Plus, you will have a better relationship with and understanding of food and you will realize good health starts from within.

Food and exercise are not the only pieces of the wellness puzzle. Healthy relationships, a fulfilling career and a spiritual awareness are all essential forms of nourishment. When we work together, I apply a HOLISTIC APPROACH to explore how all parts of your life connect to your health as a whole. Together, with a focus on self-care and self-acceptance, we create effective strategies to bring balance to your life.

Change doesn’t happen overnight. As we partner together, I will personally and carefully guide you to make simple, realistic and gradual nutrition and lifestyle changes. Over time, the small changes will accumulate to create a much larger impact.  And you’ll benefit for the rest of your life. I promise!

Susan has transformed my life. I know that sounds like hyperbole, but I’m very serious. I knew intellectually that eating as much sugar and as many carbs as I was doing was bad for my health. I had gone through a few attempts on my own to cut back, but nothing ever stuck for long. The main hurdle in starting any kind of program, for me, is the first step. Susan is encouraging and knowledgeable, shared her own story in a straightforward way. I especially appreciated that she talked about her own struggles – she really is one of us, not some superhuman wellness guru. That said, Susan has strong expertise in nutrition and wellness; she is able to communicate in a way that first timers can easily grasp. I feel SO much better that I may never go back to my prior way of eating. It’s actually worth it to me to give up my beloved coffee and croissant if I can enjoy this much energy, sleep this much better, and, by the way, lose weight without feeling oppressed by tiny portion sizes. I would not have expected it, but I really think I will be able to sustain this way of eating. Now I’m trying to expand it to how I cook for my family.
