For many of us, the holiday season is the most wonderful time of the year. It’s filled with countless celebrations and lots of joy. But with that comes tempting treats, busy social calendars, and increased travel. This can lead to stress, overeating, emotional eating, less time for self care and physical activity, and ultimately weight gain.

By eating just a few hundred extra calories a day— a piece of pumpkin pie, a latke, some eggnog— the weight adds up. And the older we get the harder it is to take off. Losing the weight can take months or even years.

This year, you don’t have to struggle alone or take on an "I can eat whatever I want because I will diet in January” approach. We all know this rarely works in the long run.
